ICECAP = Incident Command Easy Computer APplication

ICECAP is an easy-to-use Incident Command System computer application that simplifies and automates resource management and Incident Action Plan production. ICECAP is available for both the PC and Macintosh platforms. These versions are identical except for their compression formats.The runtime versions are for users without FileMaker Pro software.

The standard version of ICECAP requires FileMaker Pro 5.x to run and will occupy almost 6Mb of hard disk space when installed. The standard version is recommended for large incident use since it can be networked, has more robust help features, and can produce custom forms and reports.

The runtime version of ICECAP does not require any additional software but has several limitations--some are identified above. The runtime version is ideal for new users, those who wish to train or practice using ICECAP, and anyone else who has not yet purchased the software to run the standard version.The runtime version occupies almost 12Mb of hard disk space when installed.

Launching the file after you download it will extract all the necessary files. ICECAP is highly intuitive, has extensive built in help, and therefore has no printed manual. Read (and print) the bundled ReadMe file for the few key points to use ICECAP successfully. Make sure you read the disclaimer located here at the ICECAP web page.
