Wildland Fire Training - Interagency Education

This is a step-by-step process to enable current wildland fire personnel to obtain college credits for NWCG courses through the University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College. To participate in this program, it is imperative for you to familiarize yourself with the MOU between Alaska Fire Service, the State of Alaska, Division of Forestry and University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). Doing so will answer many of your questions. For requests from outside of Alaska, employees must also follow these steps and use the established agency representative as described in the MOU.
