These data are produced by combining AK Volatile Fuel Prevalence-LRS, fire danger rating Adjectives, and Initial Attack Fire Management Options. These polygons are intended to show areas where current environmental conditions and landcover could result in elevated fire activity. It is NOT intended to replace models that simulate fire movement and behavior. Protection levels are used to symbolize data. Data can be queried to display observed/day 0 (yesterday), day 1(today), day 2 (tomorrow), and day 3(day after tomorrow).
