"description":"These data represent Alaska Wildland Fire Protection Responsibility Boundaries. Protection boundaries are defined as the exterior perimeter of an area within which a specified fire protection agency has assumed a degree of responsibility for wildland fire control. It may include land in addition to that for which the agency has jurisdiction or contractual responsibility. The State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Fire Protection (DOFFP), Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service (AFS), and the US Forest Service (USFS) are the fire suppression agencies within Alaska.  Geographic units where DNR is protecting agency are identified as \"Areas\" (the exceptions is Haines Area), the AFS units are identified as \"Zones\", and the USFS units are identified as \"Forests\".",
