Drying Days is a spatial version of the Alaska Tactical Incident Analysis Tool. It is an attempt to summarize a combination of factors and predict when a fire may become active again.

Individual rasters representing Build Up Index (BUI) estimates 72 hours ago (day before yesterday) and the precipitation for the last 72 hours are downloaded from AKFF MesoWest. Rasters are processed using Python 3 to create a polygon feature class with values that represent the estimated drying days.
