Description: These data identify lakes and sections of rivers that may be suitable for use by water scooper aircraft (e.g., Fire Boss, CL-415). Upon reaching the water source, the PIC should survey the water and surrounding area for suitability. There are confirmed sites (known to have been use by aircraft in the past) as well as lakes that may be usable based on their size. Users should be aware that the source of the waterbody polygons was NHD and as such, there may be errors. Invasive species information is included.
